This study focuses on profit optimization strategies for the train in 2024 using Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) analysis and Pricing Strategy in the context of increased competition due to the introduction of the Whoosh. The research identifies a knowledge gap in how the combination of CVP and pricing strategies can be effectively utilized in the competitive landscape of Indonesia's railway transport. The methodology employed in this study is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. The key findings indicate that Perusahaan Kereta Api Indonesia can maintain the competitiveness of the train by lowering ticket prices to increase passenger volume, thereby achieving optimal contribution margins. Additionally, the analysis suggests that a 40% occupancy rate with a ticket price of Rp150,000.00 can generate significant profits, even with a reduced passenger capacity. The implications of this research are that the appropriate application of CVP and pricing strategies can help Perusahaan Kereta Api Indonesia achieve an optimal balance between profitability and customer satisfaction in a highly competitive market.
