Civilization-Based Civic Education Learning Communication to Foster the Character of Students’ Love of Homeland in Madrasas

This article examines the communication strategies used in civilization-based Civic Education (PKN) learning, aimed at fostering students' patriotism in Madrasahs. This research employs a qualitative approach to investigate the effectiveness of communication strategies in reinforcing national values and cultural heritage among students. The primary focus of this study is to analyze the implementation of communication methods that encourage patriotism and their impact on character development. Data collection was conducted through direct observation, interviews with educators, and curriculum documentation reviews. The findings reveal that communication practices incorporating patriotic values significantly enhance students' comprehension and love for their homeland. This research also highlights exemplary practices in the application of civilization-based Civics learning and offers recommendations for curriculum development that is more attuned to character-building needs. These findings are intended to serve as a valuable reference for educators and policymakers in creating effective and meaningful educational programs.
